The Whole Child
Emphasis is on the development of the total child. For this reason, Pilot School recognizes the importance of the cooperative efforts between home and school. Both formally and informally, our teachers and administrators work closely with parents to maintain open and active communication. Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled regularly to keep parents informed of their child's progress. Parent education courses, conducted by our school counselor, also are frequently offered to parents who wish to expand upon their understanding of their child's development.
Parents can also be a part of an active and enthusiastic Home and School Association. This group provides an important opportunity for parent interaction and involvement, and the special events contribute invaluable financial support to the school's scholarship fund.
