Providing a therapeutic education is not inexpensive, and, of course, setting a yearly tuition cost is necessary for an independent school.
The Board of Trustees has historically kept yearly tuition charges many thousands of dollars below the actual cost to deliver a Pilot education. The school’s plan is that support from the Annual Fund appeal will make up the financial difference each year.
The Pilot School understands that families sometimes need financial assistance. Financial aid is discussed during the initial visit. Any family may apply for financial assistance through our tuition aid program, where grants are based on need, and determined on a case-by-case basis. Parents are encouraged to discuss fees and financial aid with the Director.
Financial Aid requests are considered after a student is enrolled at Pilot.
Tuition for 2013 – 2014 includes all testing, therapy, books, and materials for the ten month school year, September through June. The fee is $24,940.00
